Why South Loop Residents Choose In-Home Personal Training
If you live in the South Loop, you're already paying a premium for proximity — to Grant Park, Museum Campus, the lake, and a quick walk to the Loop. The last thing you want to do after a long day is fight Roosevelt traffic to get to a crowded gym, wait 20 minutes for a squat rack, and then commute home. In-home personal training removes every piece of that friction. I come to your building — your unit, your amenity gym, even your rooftop if it has the space — with everything we need for a real workout. You save 90 minutes of commute and locker-room time per session. You train consistently because there's no excuse not to. And because we're not sharing equipment with anyone else, the workout is faster, more focused, and built around exactly what your body needs that day. I've trained South Loop clients for over a decade, in dozens of buildings between Roosevelt and Cermak, from the lake to State Street. I know which buildings have which equipment, which amenity gyms are usable and which ones aren't, and how to build a real strength program for someone whose only workout space is a 600-square-foot condo. If the gym intimidates you, if your schedule is unpredictable, or if you've simply outgrown big-box fitness — this is built for you.

What In-Home Training in South Loop Actually Looks Like
Step 1 — Free 30-minute phone call (or Zoom if preferred) consultation. You tell me your goals, your history, what's worked and what hasn't. I tell you exactly how I'd build your program. No sales pressure — if it's not the right fit, I'll tell you.
Step 2 — Movement assessment. Before we ever load weight, I assess how you move. Ankle and hip mobility, shoulder positioning, core stability, old injuries. This is what separates a real program from a generic workout.
Step 3 — A program built for you and your space. Whether your "gym" is a corner of your condo with a pair of dumbbells, a fully-loaded amenity gym in a Museum Park high-rise, or somewhere in between — your program is designed around what you actually have access to. I bring bands, suspension trainers, and adjustable dumbbells when needed.
Step 4 — Sessions in your space, on your schedule. Most clients train 2–3x per week. Sessions run 45–60 minutes. I show up on time, every time, with the day's plan ready.
Step 5 — Progress reviews every 4–6 weeks. We measure what matters — strength numbers, body composition, how clothes fit, energy, sleep, mood. Then we adjust.

What South Loop Clients Say
I have worked with Darek for 18 months. He has been great. I have never worked out before and he got me into a routine that continues to push me. He’s extremely flexible and with varying work and family schedules. He is very understanding at last minute switches. His flexibility is really something that makes working with him. A long-term solution-
I would strongly recommend.
- Ali Z, (trains at 1400 Museum Park)
I started working out with Darek for the first time a year ago when I looked to make a change in my life. My biggest problem was that I lacked good form and had no consistency in getting to the gym. Darek has provided structure to my workouts and his attention to form has allowed me to make significant progress since starting with him. Now, I feel better and look better. I would not have gotten to this point without Darek's help.
- James F. (trains at Museum Park Tower Two)
My husband and I have been using Darek now for over four years. He’s been great…workouts are fun and challenging. He’s easy to talk to and he’s been wonderful dealing with our busy schedule. I actually look forward to our workouts! For a working parents, fitting in workouts is a constant challenge, but Darek has made that much easier for us. We really appreciate him and his workouts that keep us strong and flexible so we can keep up with our kids!
