
Let's not bury the lead here. This post is to highlight the absolutely AMAZING weight loss/body transformation of my client Irene!
From her starting weight of 236 pounds, she most recently weighed in at 181! That's a 55 pound drop and an incredible improvement in here mobility, strength, flexibility, and quality of life!
HOW SHE DID IT! A CHICAGO HOME PERSONAL TRAINER HIGHLIGHTS AN INCREDIBLE WEIGHT LOSS BODY TRANSFORMATION!
Irene and I (and other friends she invites!) work out twice a week, focusing on full body strength and mobility. She is consistent, focused, and always pushing herself to go further than the last workout. As a Personal Trainer, I've worked with dozens of clients but have rarely seen the conviction that Irene brings to each and every session.
Whenever I challenge Irene with heavier weight or more reps, she rises to the occasion. She is willing to try every exercise and understands that progress takes time. In the 5 months we've worked together, there has never been a moment where she wasn't challenging herself to go the extra mile and fight for her goals.
Irene's workouts are kept very simple and breakdown as:
Six Rounds. 2 Series.
SERIES 1 - Push (Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Quads, Glutes)
This is three rounds of exercises that work the anterior chain. Think shoulder presses, squats, lunges, tricep extensions, etc.
SERIES 2 - Pull (Back, Biceps, Hamstrings)
This is three rounds of exercises that work the posterior chain. Lat Rows, Deadlifts, Face Pulls, etc.
By keeping the workouts simple and effective, we have continued to progressively overload to increase Irene's strength while putting her in the position to succeed and AVOID INJURY!
BUT WHAT DID SHE EAT?!
Most importantly, Irene has CRUSHED her nutrition plan. Since our first session back in November 2024, Irene has stayed below her daily calorie limit and consistently lost 2-3 pounds EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. This is the key.
She measures everything she eats, meal preps, and avoids cheat meals and alcohol. This dedication to her fitness and nutrition has led her to dropping 55 pounds and changing her life forever!
Remember, you cannot outwork a poor diet. Irene's incredible weight loss body transformation would not have been possible without dedicating herself to eating clean and know exactly how much she is consuming every single day.
Weight loss is Math. Stay in your calorie deficit and you will lose weight. Eat beyond your limit, and you will not.
It's. That. Simple.
And to be perfectly clear: I did not restrict ANY foods except alcohol. This wasn't keto or paleo or Atkins or any fad diet. It was a simple calorie deficit and BOOM! 55 POUNDS LATER!
YOU CAN DO IT TOO!
This is the crucial point. While Irene's dedication, consistency, and focus were crucial to her success ... she didn't do anything that you can't do. That's right reader. You can achieve this level of success. It is very, VERY possible.
But you have to understand what it takes. You have to hit your sessions. You have to stick to your nutrition plan. You have to WANT to make the change.
My job is to give you the road map and keep you heading down the right path. The plan works. You just have to stick to it.
And the first step is believing you can do it.
